Onuri: Notes & Second Brain
Notes and personal knowledge software for capturing writing, finding context and rediscovering related entries.
About Onuri
Onuri: Notes & Second Brain is an iPhone notes app built around a simple idea: human memory is associative. A thought can belong to a person, a place, a date, a time and a topic at once. Onuri connects those signals as you write so useful structure can emerge without asking you to maintain it first.

The idea behind Onuri
Onuri grew from a second-brain idea about the difference between how computers traditionally organise information and how human memory works.
Computers are built around files, folders and fixed hierarchies. Human memory is less rigid. A single memory can be connected to who was there, where it happened, when it happened and what it was about — all at the same time.
Onuri was designed around that model. Instead of asking you to decide where every note belongs, it looks for meaningful context inside the writing itself. The aim is simple: write first, let the connections emerge, then find the right thing again later.
What Onuri connects
Onuri recognises useful signals as you write and turns them into ways to filter, follow and rediscover your notes.
Reconnect entries around the people who appear in your writing and the context you have recorded around them.
Follow places across your notes and rediscover writing connected to locations you have mentioned.
Use dates and times as part of the context around an entry rather than relying only on when the note itself was created.
Follow recurring subjects through your writing without building a manual taxonomy before you start.
Related entries can surface writing with similar meaning even when two notes do not use the same vocabulary.
Onuri Premium adds deeper views of recurring themes, momentum, people and place patterns, semantic clusters and strongest connections.
Who Onuri is for
Capture an idea, conversation, project thought or everyday memory before worrying about folders, notebooks or filing rules.
Keep the surrounding details of conversations, relationships and encounters in the same writing you already create.
Let accumulated notes become more connected over time instead of manually linking every entry.
Search text, filter by connected context and follow related entries when you remember part of something but not exactly where you put it.
Where Onuri fits
Onuri sits in the broader note-taking and personal knowledge management category alongside established products such as Apple Notes, Bear, Obsidian, Notion and Evernote.
Those products take different approaches to notebooks, folders, tags, databases and manual links. Onuri's distinction is its emphasis on automatic contextual connections: write naturally first, then use the people, places, dates, times, topics and semantic relationships already present in the writing.
It is not intended to reproduce every workflow of those apps. Its focus is a lighter-maintenance way to capture personal information and make it easier to recover later.
